Jerry Wilde, 69, of Munday, Texas, passed away on June 11, 2026.

He lived life, true to his own spirit, and enjoyed the things that made him happy: hunting, being outdoors, and spending time with friends and family. Whether it was hunting, fishing, sitting around deer camp or at the kitchen table, he appreciated good company and never lacked an opinion or a story to share.

He enjoyed the simple things—a good hunt, a good laugh, and the people he cared about. Those who knew him best will remember the conversations, the stories, and the memories made over the years.

He is survived by his wife Nancy, son Keith and wife Natalie, daughter Lindsey and husband Jeff, grandchildren Bailey, Whitten and Avett. He is also survived by two brothers Gary and wife Judy and Craig and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents John Ed and Maxine, brother John Lee and grandson Bransen.

Gravesite services will be held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Rhineland, 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 20th under the direction of McCauley-Smith Funeral Home.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Munday Food Pantry or Hospice of Wichita Falls in his memory.
